What to Expect at Tech for Impact Summit 2026: The Definitive Preview
Everything you need to know about Tech for Impact Summit 2026 — the invitation-only executive summit on April 26 in Tokyo. Format, speakers, sessions, and how to get in.
After hosting 2,910 attendees from 57 countries in 2025, Tech for Impact Summit is taking a fundamentally different approach for its third edition.
Smaller. More senior. Higher stakes.
Here’s everything you need to know about April 26, 2026.
The Format: Two Tracks, One Day
Main Stage (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
Keynotes and panels featuring confirmed speakers including former Digital Minister Taro Kono, Kathy Matsui (MPower Partners), Charles Hoskinson (Cardano), Yat Siu (Animoca Brands), Yoshito Hori (GLOBIS), and Ken Suzuki (SmartNews).
Sessions cover the intersections of technology, capital, and policy — from Web3’s role in Japan’s economic future to AI governance, clean energy, and impact investment.
Strategy Dialogues (Throughout the Day)
Closed-door roundtables seating 10–12 senior leaders each. Conducted under Chatham House Rules — no cameras, no recordings, no attribution. This is where the real conversations happen.
Topics include:
- The Clean Energy Supercycle: Fusion, fission, and AI’s insatiable grid
- Capital in a Fractured World: Navigating geopolitical risk and ESG recalibration
- Beyond Compliance: Turning sustainability disclosure into a value creation engine
VIP Dinner (6:30 PM – 9:00 PM)
An evening of candid conversation for speakers, partners, and senior executives at Deloitte Tohmatsu Innovation Park. By invitation only.
The Venue
Kioi Conference at Tokyo Garden Terrace Kioicho — in the heart of Tokyo’s political and business district, a short walk from Nagatacho Station. The same venue that hosts Japan’s most senior policy discussions.
