Rob Freelen is a General Partner at Sozo Ventures, co-founder of an LA-based FinTech company - Turbine Finance, and a former SVB executive. Since joining Sozo Rob has championed investments in companies transforming skin care, manufacturing, farming, early stage cancer Dx, cybersecurity, and batteries: Haus Labs & OuterBio, Atomic Machines, Carbon Robotics, Mercy Bio, Doppel, and Stacked Energy. Prior to Sozo Rob was an executive at Silicon Valley Bank where he ran multiple business units including Venture Capital Relationship Management, the Los Angeles region, and the west coast healthcare team. Additionally, in 2024 Rob was selected to Class 29 and is completing his Kauffman Fellowship in Venture Capital.
