Chihiro Baba

Head of Impact Business Development, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank

Chihiro Baba is Head of Impact Business Development at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, where she leads impact business development and impact investment initiatives. Before joining the bank in 2022, she worked at the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in development finance and international cooperation. She has served on committees for Japan's Ministry of the Environment and local governments. She holds a BA in Economics from Keio University and an MBA from the University of Oxford.
